set up a pilates corner in ten minutes
You need about seven feet by three, a wall for support and nothing that rolls.

Choose a spot with a clear floor seven feet long and three feet wide. A living-room corner works, and so does the gap beside a bed. Hard floors are best under the board; put the mat on top for floor work.
Keep the board, ring and weights together in a basket or under the sofa so the setup takes seconds. A routine you can start in under a minute is one you actually do.
Face a window if you can. Natural light makes it easier to see your own alignment, and it is nicer to look at than a screen.
